Okay, I called Blooming Escapes today to get a rundown on our registration situation and this is what Kerry, the owner, told me:
That Christine and Amanda (Mandy) are both registered with their own separate deposits and she was unaware that they were part of our group (?!). She said that everyone else who registered let her know that they were part of our group, therefore they were not charged a separate deposit, although I was charged with a higher deposit at that time.
I asked her if Christine and Mandy could have their deposits refunded, and their groups could be added to ours, and I would be happy to pay for the further increase in the deposit ($450 instead of the $350 I have already paid). She said no, it would be difficult for her to do that at this point. I let on that I didn't think that was fair, but she didn't budge...BUT, I am thinking that it is possible that if Mandy and Christine call her up individually and ask her about changing their reservation, it is possible she'll do that even though she told ME no. It might be worth a try. It would bring your individual rates down somewhat, because you are each paying a 1-room rate and I guess we are paying a 3-room rate.
Make sense? It just barely does to me. To further complicate things, some people are signed up to arrive on Thursday, and others on Friday. BUT-- she says anyone arriving on Thursday will pay $50 for the Thursday night stay, and that goes for anyone in the TallyRally house.
She did say she would give our entire group of 18 people Sunday night free (because Shannon, Katie, Nicole & I stayed at this retreat in April which gave us the bonus night free).

Ok Julie....I am mildly confused her....Right now you have paid $450.00 Deposit? I guess I don't understand cause I though each room would pay their own deposit. And we all have to pay for Thursday or just if we come Thursday? Sorry Confused here.
Ok now I read again....is the $350.00 the original deposit Julie that you paid or is that increased?

No-- Thursday is everyone's individual option. You pay for it only if you stay that night.
And I also thought it would go the way you did-- but when Lisa, Kerry, etc. made it known they were with us, Kerry charged me extra money for the deposit (a total of $350- which is what the rate is for 12 people if you look at the site). The $450 is what I would be charged if Mandy & Christine get refunded their deposit and are added to our group. Which is fine with me if they are able to get her to do that.
I know-- it is confusing :(
I just read my last comment and realized I might have sounded like I was mad I was charged more when the girls from Iowa were added to our group-- I wasn't at all--they e-mailed me & told me they were doing it that way. And I (falsely) assumed that when others signed on that Kerry (the owner) would handle it the same way she did theirs. Which is why Mandy and Christine should for sure complain.
Thank you soooo much for making this call! I was starting to worry that I screwed this up somehow. The IOWA girls are probably coming Thursday night as long as the weather is good and staying through Sunday night as well.
No you didn't sound mad Julie :) You are just trying to clarify for the slow one here.
When is the balance due?
I told her we were joining a bunch who already registered!! What the? I had no idea we could get a different rate..I'll be calling!
