An Army Marches on its Stomach

Ok, it's waay too early to worry about finalizing anything, but I was making chili the other day and thinking, Gosh, I like chili, I wonder if it would be good to make at the retreat.

Does anyone have any special dietary needs? Extreme dislikes?

Since our big group is comprised of several little groups, it would probably work to have groups volunteer to do lunch or dinner one of the days. If you want to cook, awesome, if you want to order pizza, or other delivery food, awesome too. I wouldn't mind going into the Dells one of the nights for a dinner out, but otherwise, it's winter so I would rather stay in for the other meals.

What do you think?

Good idea Lisa...I am up for planning a chili night or something like it...and maybe for going out for one of our dinners too. Also, I think Christine is interested in having some of the meals catered in...which would be great because that will leave us more time for scrapping instead of cooking!

I like assigning meals to groups of people. Then we get a variety of styles of food and you only have to stop and cook once (or twice) for the weekend.
I would be a bit wary of the cost of catering too many meals.

I love the idea of chilli or some sort of soup, that would be easy enough to throw together in a crock pot and let it go for the day. Pizza delivery always works too! The less cleaning and cooking I have to do the better. I do way to much of that at home.

Oh I'm open for anything. There is a classic steak house type restaurant within walking distance from the house. Might need some snow boots though this time of year! ;) Anyway, we all walked down there and it was great food...but not cheap.

Just another option. We would for sure need a reservation if we all wanted to go together.
